Good overview of Civil Rights movement in Alabama.
This app is developed as a tourist friendly app to introduce people and places in the Civil Rights movement to a traveler. I like that the app offers a rather comprehensive listing of places and people who were involved on both sides of the Civil Rights movement. As an educational tool I would like to see more information and more tools for discovery. The destinations section would be a stronger historic tool if it had vintage photographs. Instead, they offer only modern photographs of what you'll see if you visit the cities and museums. Links would be welcomed to archival newspaper and news footage or primary source documents. Audio and language translation would also be welcomed additions. Maps of the state of Alabama with identifying designations would add to student interest.
Overall, a good introduction and tourist app.
