Great game to practice math skills
At first, I was concerned that it took too long for students to get to math problems and that they were not spending enough time practicing math skills but students were choosing to play the game during free time in class. They would rush in the morning before school starts and ask to play. Students loved the game. They loved the social aspect and the fact that they could battle friends. The built in rewards such as pets and powers kept students engaged. They loved sharing what they accumulated. They also spent more time on their own playing the game. During the weekends or days off, students were completing 100s of math questions. They would make play dates after school to meet in a world to continue to play. When students got stuck on skills that were more challenging, they would ask for help so they could continue in the game. I was amazed at the level of engagement and students did not tire of it. Even at the end of the school year, students were asking to play the game. In fact, many are still playing this summer. I loved that I could infuse the skills we were learning in class into their game. Overall, I highly recommend this game. Students loved leveling up and many would work to catch up to their friends. One of the biggest difficulties is asking the students to quit.

Best engaging math game for Elementary Student
I love this program. More importantly the students love it. They go home and answer questions when they dont have to. I have never been able to get the students to practice math as much as they do now. You can align this with your curriculum using the "planner" tool. The students can battle each other on their math knowledge and even the teacher if you have an active player profile. My students are answering 100s of practice math questions every night. Not week or month but every night. My students love bragging on their abilities and talents but are now bragging on how they can beat me in a Math Battle. Hands down one of the best teaching tools Ive encountered.

Great gamified math practice and instruction
Great program overall. The gamified nature engages the kids, it can also be a distractor as they like to battle each other which means time is wasted finding their friends within the game. I think the learning time to gaming time/waiting time is perhaps a little low, but it does contribute to student engagement, so all in all I can live with it. The reporting tools are fabulous, although information on the students who play outside of the classroom is more rounded than those who only play at school (which means data on the most needy students is lacking). One problem I have is that there is a lot of focus on traditional alogrithms whereas our math program stresses non-traditional methods for multiplication and division, I would like to see this changed as it skews assessment results.

Great interactive tool! Students LOVE playing.
Love how the students can battle each other at their own level in math. I also love that it is adaptive and geared towards each student's individual needs.

Make Math FUN!
It is a great way to be able to do rotations and small groups in your classroom. It is also an educational alternative to free time. They think it is free time because they love catching pets and battling each other, however they are doing math and I am getting data!

The data I obtain is accurate and precise to student abilities. This allows me to be direct with my reteach and small group instruction.

Beautifully Engaging for the Students, Fabulous Data for the Teacher
I hope to someday be able to go into the assignment section and click on a skill and be able to play as a whole group. This would allow us to practice the question format and vocabulary even before they reach that section allowing them more independent success.

Greatest Math Game EVER!
My kids ask for it everyday, and I can track students progress with ease. I can also assign assignments at anytime. The kids don't even know if they are taking a test when I assign it. They think they are playing!

Great way to engage every level of learner!!!
I love the fact I can assign topics and get reports back about my students progress. I love that is common core aligned and I find the lessons easily. My kids enjoy playing prodigy they want to do math. They are practicing math skills, but they see it as more of playing a game. They are having fun learning!
