I think it's a great site. The students love it as they get to build and improve their characters as well as battle against classmates. As a teacher it helps me assign specific lessons that are either review of previous lessons and practice for new content. It's also great for practice at home. Teachers can use the data provided by the website to see detailed analysis.

It's a great resource since kids love to play, keep them interested while they practice their math. I like to use the planner and target specific need of my kids. They also practice the questions for the State test. I used it as a pretest, post-test, exit ticket, independent practice, etc.

I love this teaching tool. My students are always excited when I ask them to log on and they love finding the different animals. Most of the time, they barely realise they are learning maths.

Sometimes I will project Prodigy on the whiteboard and we will work through some problems as a class. Since in the kids' minds it is all just a game, it takes no work to engage them in the material. I also use Prodigy as an incentive in the classroom for various things. For example, if a student completes with accuracy our district required minutes on another online math instructional program for that day; then, she/he may play Prodigy (which I have set via the planner tool to a specific set of skills).

I think this product is great. I wish they had a reading component because it has made such a difference in my math instruction. The kids are actually excited to use it.

My students are always asking if they can have more time on Prodigy. They love working on it at home too! I love that it is free and that students enjoy learning math with this program. The teacher planner and the reports give me valuable information about their mastery of each math standard. I can assign specific standards to my class and chart their progress. I highly recommend the use of Prodigy.

At first I didn’t think that this was as good as what I was told by a colleague. It was glitchy for the students doing their pre- assessment. Mainly through beginning of the year connectivity issues. Once this was fixed my students were extremely engaged in using the product as they loved the game play. For them it was considered a game even though they had to answer mathematical questions. From a teacher view point, it is easy to set work and see progress of individual students. Assigned work can be differentiated which is very useful. Overall very helpful to engage students in in learning mathematical concepts.

We love Prodigy. It's game based which grabs the kids attention and it makes them want to keep playing. It has so many topics to teach and practice as well and it's easy to use a teacher.

I think this is a great practice tool. Students could use Prodigy as a tool to practice material learned in class.

I loved it. My students loved it. I recommend this for any teacher teaching math education in the middle or elementary classroom.
