This app is great for my special education class. They get to write by typing which is beneficial to many with fine motor weaknesses. It also gives them a starting place to be creative. It allows for editing and revision. One feature is a spell correcting option. I have used real Popsicle sticks in class with the same concept, this is more engaging because it is on an IPad and students like to use them in class. I would definitely try it out if I was a teacher in elementary school to assist in getting reluctant students or students with a writing deficit to write daily.

I think this is a wonderful app to help students identify the elements of a story as well as help students app details to their writing and spark creativity.
