Fun way to get kids writing.
This app is great for my special education class. They get to write by typing which is beneficial to many with fine motor weaknesses. It also gives them a starting place to be creative. It allows for editing and revision. One feature is a spell correcting option. I have used real Popsicle sticks in class with the same concept, this is more engaging because it is on an IPad and students like to use them in class.
I would definitely try it out if I was a teacher in elementary school to assist in getting reluctant students or students with a writing deficit to write daily.

This app is a great tool to help writing and story telling abilities. Randomly generated prompts include the elements of a story (who, what, when, where, and details). Students can save and email their stories
I think this is a wonderful app to help students identify the elements of a story as well as help students app details to their writing and spark creativity.
