Students love the colorful Kodable fuzz characters, and cannot get enough of the coding challenges. The program works seamlessly on a variety of devices: computer, tablet or iPad. Kodable participates in the annual Hour of Code challenge. Check it out!
When student accounts are set up on the teacher dashboard, a link is generated to the class and students are able to access their accounts with ease. They can move through the challenges at their own pace. Since the platform is web based, they can access Kodable from any connected device. Student develop confidence as they progress through the Kodable challenges.

My students love coding especially grades K-5. This is a great website that is really user friendly.
I love it for the younger grades. I think after 3rd grade it becomes a little babyish. My fourth graders still use it but are loosing interest. Also K has a harder time in the upper levels. I usually do these levels as a whole group and have the kids move like fuzzy.

The Kids here in Nigeria really love it! It's the best program for first exposure to Coding for Kids.
As a teaching tool, Kodable is awesome. With little or no knowledge in Computer Science, any Adult can use this tool to coach kids.

Happy mix of online and unplugged to get them thinking.
I have been using Kodable in my classroom since it first appeared in the Hour of Code. I like how the designers listen to the feedback of teachers who have used the program in real classrooms with real challenges to overcome. I think that the visuals are appealing to students and I have achieved great success with teaching some difficult concepts to all levels of learners using this program as a jumpstart platform to other programs.
