If you have not taken a look at Kodable for computer science integration then you're missing out! The curriculum has continued to grow and improve over the years. The material is very accessible for teachers and highly engaging for students. They will absolutely love the fuzzFamily. Consider the ELA lessons that weave in the story of the fuzzFamily both to introduce them initially and to continue learning and growing as they evolve. There are few programs that impress me as much as Kodable does when it comes to a complete solution for computer science curriculum in schools. A top choice for schools to consider investing in along with teacher training.

Great for Kindergarten, grade 1 and older students with learning challenges.

I liked how it started off simple enough for my kinders, but pretty quickly increased in difficulty so the advanced students didn't get bored. We had to mute our computers because the background music was monotonous and annoyed some kids. Some kids got confused when they were given the opportunity to click on the Mission area, could there be a few verbal prompts or a virtual tour guide to show them what to do at that point? I wish our school could afford the paid version.

This is a fabulous tool for teaching young students to code! My students love it and so do I!

I liked the scaffolding piece of this software. The only drawback is the cost associated with it.

I love that it is free, but I wish I could monitor the progress of students more easily, like how I can on Hour of Code's site. It get students introduced to coding, so that is awesome for k-2/3!!

I think it is fantastic!! I didn't really know much about coding, so teaching it to my class seemed like a daunting task. However, with the SUPER easy to follow lesson plans I seemed like a coding professional. I have special education students - they are LOVING having the opportunity to learn coding.

I really like it because it is down-to-earth and helps students understand directions as well. On the teacher's side, I wish there was a little more in the support area as to how to delete old classes, what the easiest way to give kids the "code" is, etc.

One of the fastest, most engaging ways to get your kids up and coding

I use the product with all my K-2 students including Special Needs. The Love the program when they experience success. The levels are wonderful and fits the needs of all. My entire school has participated in "Hour of Code" which will be the 3rd year and without this type of program for younger learners they would not be able to. GREAT, GREAT program.
