I love the way that Kodable teaches prediction, checking hypothesis and reworking incorrect answers supporting perseverance. Great and easy app!

This is my second time that I used Kodable but I am already seeing the strength of the program. Hopefully as time goes by I could see where the program will fall in the right time of the Computer Science Course. I teach 6th Grqde but I gladly used Kodable (5th) as an entry course.

I love this teaching tool. I started with first grade and then expanded to my other classes because of my overall impression of the product. Highly recommend!

Excellent tool. Fortunately I use it with Apple Classroom so that I can lock in the app to prevent wandering. A built in feature would be nice as well.

The features are quite limited, but there is a good introduction to material. The new "hour of code" section, while not an hour, does give students a little taste. It is good for a little peek into the world of coding, but with so many other free options available, I wouldn't purchase the full content. The classroom set up was easy and the kids could quickly and easily find their profiles.

I think coding is a great way to teach problem solving skills. An all too important life skill. The students also built more mental stamina and patience as they tried to solve each level.

I loved this product, especially because it reaches non readers up through fifth graders who are new to coding. Students were motivated to engage and solve. Sometimes, because this was the first experience with coding for many, they would back away from the challenge because there were not written instructions of exactly what to do. The maze tutorial gave everyone confidence and direction. Some of the other creative and game playing opportunities confused students. Those who persisted were able to use logic and be successful, though.

With an entire group, I had as many as 24 kids come in (age 5-6) that was a big tricky because there were several steps to get them logged in to their chromebooks. Amazing for my pre k kids on IPADS Super fast a few clicks and they were in. I think it is a great problem solving tool, they had some time to work together to problem solve. SOme kids got it super fast, others were stuck and so to turn to a shoulder partner and get some coding help was amazing to watch. Our kids were so engaged, we intend to do it at least once a month with the 3 and 4 year olds, they loved coding .

The early learners love the characters and the settings of the activities and really become involved in the problem solving activities.
