Allows students to take personal responsibility for their own behavior.
Very beneficial to classroom management and therefor general learning. I like that students SELF regulate.

Perfect way to keep them engaged in their own behavior management.
This is a great product for training students to be aware of their behavior, it helps because of the auditory cues that let students know when someone has received or lost a point. Students get very competitive about receiving the points. Teachers must be diligent about being consistent about how they give and take points.

Keeps my 7th graders on task and aware of what they are saying and doing.
I think that ClassDojo has served my purposes really well. Student want to earn points and they love seeing their names pop up on the screen. This keeps them motivated and on-task during group work. ClassDojo provides many advanced and really neat tools for communicating student progress and achievement with parents. I have not used any of these tools. I use ClassDojo on a very basic level. Overall, I am very pleased with my results!

Great Tool for Monitoring Behavior!!
Love Love this app!! I love the communication between the teacher and parent. Love how the students can see and monitor their own behavior. Rewards are given after earning points. The only problem I have using it with whole class is some students get angry if they loose points.

Great Way to Manage Behavior
Class Dojo helps students stay on task . Teachers can customize the behaviors to meet their needs. Students have a running tally throughout the day and week to see how they are doing. Hearing the 'BLING' sound each time a teacher rewards a student for positive behavior has served as a HUGE motivator in our school. And teachers can use the mobile app version to take Dojo on field trips to continue to monitor students behaviors outside of school.

Kid Friendly way to monitor behavior in the classroom
Overall, it is simply a kid friendly way of monitoring behaviors. It encourages the students to behave in more positive ways. It also lets the parents who sign on to it see how their child is behaving in class. The downside to it is getting all the parents to register and sign in.

Super tool for managing your students.
This is a great program for elementary students. Having the students be accountable for their actions is a great way to help the learn from their behaviors. Also have the parents’ involved helps with cutting down on many of the negative behaviors. There are many positives to using this program. It is an app as well as an Internet based program. This helps as I can walk around with my iPad or phone and mark behaviors.
One of the major downfalls is that you need a parents email address for the students to sign up. This can become a problem because if a parent doesn’t have one or want to share, then the student cannot sign up. If your students have their own school email address, then they can use that.
This is a must have for any elementary teacher.

Karate Chop that Obsolete Clip Chart and go Dojo!
I am a huge fan of Class Dojo! It has become a necessary tool for instruction in my classroom. It motivates the students to put forth their best behavior. It allows for positive reinforcement, consistent communication with parents, and viable data to share with parents and administrators. Class Dojo helps me stay consistent in my behavior management and I don't find myself nattering at students. I just find a student that deserves a positive point. When the others hear the "Dojo Ding" they take the hint and straighten up in order to get their own point.
