The perfect way to light the fire of excitement for curious students!
I would LOVE to work as a demonstrator for your company if you ever decide to go that route in Utah. Check my profile on LinkedIn if you are interested. As far as constructive criticism, all I have is that I've never heard of this program before.... Word needs to get out! I would urge you to take advantage of this opportunity and check out my profile. http://mjbrewerwriter.wixsite.com/mjbrewerwriter and https://www.linkedin.com/profile/preview?locale=en_US&trk=prof-0-sb-preview-primary-button

THE BEST CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT PROGRAM OUT THERE!!!
It is an outstanding tool and I highly recommend any teacher who is struggling with classroom management to try it out! It is easy to set up and to use. You can use it on an iPad, phone, or a computer. I have used my phone to give them point and it appears on my laptop. Class Dojo also has a great support staff and you can find other resources to help you through this program.

A simple and useful tool for classroom management
Overall, I would say this is an easy method of keeping track of student behavior if you see multiple classes throughout the day. A classroom teacher would have an easier time of giving and taking points rather than my way of just taking them. I find that as students reach 5th or 6th grade, this form of classroom management becomes less useful. Whether this is a reflection of my student population, I'm not certain. There are options to engage parents, which would be very useful if our parent's were more interested in keeping track of their student's behavior. This would most likely be implemented in a school-wide fashion.

Awesome tool for classroom management and participation
Initial set up requires that you input each student's name individually in each class you create. This can take awhile if you have a lot of students but once the class is created it is very easy to edit if students add or drop a class. My only advice is that this product won't have as much student "buy in" much past the 8th grade level. I teach 7th graders and my former students (now 8th graders) love to come in and check out the Wall of Fame to see how classes have performed.

Timely feedback for students and cute avatars
I really like that students can receive immediate feedback in class on their behavior. I also like that the website comes with lots of resources- everything from avatar cutouts to parent letters and invitations. It really comes down to how a teacher implements it- you have to be consistent, you have to use it along with your school's behavior system as a supplement, and you have to communicate to kids what you are doing. We "practiced" with it a lot in class to begin with- lots of roll-playing out good and bad scenarios and what would happen to your Class Dojo avatar if that happened, etc. Changing the goal at the end...whether it be a class party or 5 extra minutes of recess or everyone reaches 20 Dojo points...is good to do on a regular basis as students will get bored with it.
