Great Digital Entrance/Exit form
I posted several questions about the topic and had students answer them. Students seemed engaged and liked that they could see all of their classmates/ posts. I liked that I was able to export students' responses to a PDF file in order to have an accurate record of what they did in class that day. It was also nice that students were able to post without accounts, although I believe you can make accounts. We had some Internet connectivity issues & therefore many students had to revisit their post to complete it the following week. Not all students were able to edit their original post. I was told by company representatives that if students are not logged in that they should have access to edit a previous post if they access it at a later time from the same device. This, unfortunately, did not work for many students. Overall, I think students enjoyed using this tool and would I would use it again with them to see in what other ways it can be used effectively.

Great tool for students to use to respond and collaborate!
I love Padlet. I really like how I can move my students' responses around. I like to group them by like responses. We use it as a collaborative tool and to correct misunderstandings. I also like that it is very easy to use. My second graders have little problem clicking to add their responses. I did have little trouble getting use to the settings at first, but once they became familiar I have had little trouble using this application daily in my classroom.

Sticky notes you can't loose
Padlet is a great way to collect students work, administer formative assessments and introduce your students to social media and digital citizenship.
My advice...stress the fact that they need to write their own name on the sticky note. I always make it part of the assignment and part of the overall grade...if you don't put your name on it, I can't give you credit for your participation.

Great "Up-To-The-Second" Communication Tool
My overall opinion about padlet is that it is a great teaching tool. It is an ongoing discussion of the topic you are talking about. Students feed off each other and share their information. The students grow on each other's ideas. I like that you can only see the page and share your ideas if you shared the link with other people, so no one can go on the page unless they have the link. The downside of padlet is that sometimes students will write silly things on the other students page and they sometimes use it for their personal communication tool within the group rather than school related purposes.

More than a sticky note!
I believe this an "easy to use teaching tool that can have a big impact on student engagement. When students walk in the door, they can have a padlet ready and waiting for them. They can either add their own content, or view content from a teacher or other students. It is easy to set up and use. It can be shared with an easy to access link.

The website itself worked well, both in creation (it took me less than 10 minutes to create a 3 question quiz) and the immediate responses popping up on the screen for all to see. I kept my projector screen shut so answers were covered.
I was very impressed by the Padlet website that I used in my most recent Social Studies lesson. After learning through a flipbook and picture matching game, the students were given a quiz to take on Padlet. There were a few “yays” and “nays” to mention however. My students are third graders, so it took quite a while typing in the URL for my exact padlet. We used chromebooks to complete the quiz, this eliminating the use of a link already created on the desktop for them. I would 100% recommend prepared on the desktops beforehand if available, it will make the entire process much quicker. The website itself worked well, both in creation (it took me less than 10 minutes to create a 3 question quiz) and the immediate responses popping up on the screen for all to see. Overall I will definitely use this website again and again throughout my lessons. It was easy, creative, and a simple way to implement technology that even eight-year-olds can use stress-free.

Padlet Uses for Elementary Classrooms
Collaborative learning will take place by using Padlet. It offers learners the ability to share their knowledge and understanding for a concept. Students can also personalize entries with images, links and files. A great way to introduce, investigate and review content.

Multimedia bulletin board?
I would recommend this site given its ease of use, little setup time and high interactivity. Given how long my special education students use taking notes, I will use it with them to avoid them missing important details.

Real-time Brainstorming makes Discussions Fun
I believe that Padlet is an amazing teaching tool. I liked that Padlet gave my students the ability to join discussions even if they are not physically present in the room. It also allows learners to archive information which otherwise could have been forgotten through a regular discussion. This tool fit under the Modification sector of the SAMR model for my use. A regular discussion would not have allowed students outside the classroom to see discussion postings in real time. This is an amazing tool that all teachers can use.

Easy collaborative creation tool!
I have used Padlet for years and love the ease of its use. I appreciate that there are simple controls provided to limit who may interact with a page. Recently, they have added premium features - classroom features, student tracking, more privacy choices, etc... I find that the free version is still robust enough to create quick collaborative spaces for a learning community to interact with while providing enough privacy and moderation controls. I also find that students often select Padlet for their own projects.
