Good for Review and Independent practice.
The app is very easy to use and has bright colorful graphics. Some students are more engaged because in it is interactive and gives them feedback instantaneously. I like how it is broken down into the individual concepts of the life cycle of plants. Some of the vocabulary could be tricky for weak readers or students with a reading disability. Overall, I think it does what it says it does. I wouldn't use it to TEACH, but review would be good. It is a good tool for providing one to one review, or to engaged the class while you work one on one or in small groups with other students. Maybe at a learning center, or station in your class.

It's not a groundbreaking app but I think it's right on target to be successful at what it was designed to do. It's easy to understand, the photos are excellent and the material is relevant and appropriate for primary students. Many science apps I've looked at are written at a middle school level so I appreciate this app being more accessible for younger students. Something that might be interesting is to add in a section to determine what happens during the life cycle if key requirements (water, sunlight, etc) are missing.
