My Take
The app is very easy to use and has bright colorful graphics. Some students are more engaged because in it is interactive and gives them feedback instantaneously. I like how it is broken down into the individual concepts of the life cycle of plants. Some of the vocabulary could be tricky for weak readers or students with a reading disability. Overall, I think it does what it says it does. I wouldn't use it to TEACH, but review would be good. It is a good tool for providing one to one review, or to engaged the class while you work one on one or in small groups with other students. Maybe at a learning center, or station in your class.
How I Use It
After a teaching parts of the unit of plant life, this would be a helpful tool for reviewing concepts. Each individual element of the life cycle has its own section and focuses on that concept. The students can review information and take quizzes to see what areas they need to focus on for studying. It provides feedback immediately and can be used independently. If students are using this app at home, it would be a more engaging way to study then using notes/worksheets.
