Though a beautifully designed site with a great concept--exploring neuroscience through interactive games with a lovely blend of art, the concept was lost on my third graders. They didn't make the connection, and some of the vocabulary was too sophisticated for them as well. They also seemed frustrated by the complexity of some of the games, and thought that there should be more than four games in all. I can see how this would be a great site for older students who could recognize the design/function of the game and how it ties into the brain. Older students might also be more interested in some of the extension resources. In all, a great site, but better suited for older elementary aged students and into middle school.
