This seems like a great way to get kids engaged in what they are learning since they can receive actual rewards.

My Take

I think that this project has a lot of potential. I like how the students' hard work can get rewarded in a real way with something they are actually interested in. I think that it would be more beneficial to use after lessons however, because it does not seem that it really assists in learning. It seems more like rote learning, where the kids will memorize the information just so they can get a gift card, but then not remember it after. Also, based on other reviews, there seems to be a privacy issue with this program, which can be concerning.

How I Use It

I would use this program for older students in either a high school economics class or in college courses that pertain to the subject. I think the idea of getting actual rewards for your work and correct answers is an excellent way to engage students, especially older kids. I also like that the subjects are real-world based, so kids can begin to understand real life instances.
