My Take
I am sad that Tuva Labs is more of a freemium service now. I have been using it for a while and I think it is a great tool that should be accessible to all students. Data literacy is huge in today's job market. It is important that we start to prepare our students and arm them with these skill sets so that they can be successful in the future.
How I Use It
We created our own survey about music. Our students data was uploaded and they got to dig deep into the data to find content for projects. For example, in ELA we asked the students to write an article for Rolling Stone about teen trends in music and support it using the data. In Economics, we asked them to make a recommendation on how Kayne West should release his next album based on the data trends in how teens are accessing/buying music.
