Animated Math Practice
Community Review for Tiggly Chef: Preschool Math Cooking Game
My Take
There are many things to love about this game. It can benefit any students, regardless of how well they speak, how well they speak English, children with disabilities and plenty of others. The chef repeating the words, counting with the students, and even showing the number of ingredients helps anyone finish the module.
It also teachers students different foods they might not know as well as gives them the chance to make their own recipes to spark creativity!
How I Use It
Tiggly Chef is a great way for students to practice and work on their addition skills outside the classrooms. It has a well distend app that makes it visually appealing and fun for students. It’s very helpful for visual, auditory, and tactile learners because of the option to use you own physical toy to count or the screen pictures, as well as reading everything out loud. It gives students positive reinforcement when inputting the correct answer and helps them when they input the incorrect answer. It also saves their progress by inputting their recipes in a cookbook.
Very fun game, the only con would be the occasional glitch and crash, however it makes for fun and helpful practice.
