My Take

I will admit that I don't like to pay anything for apps! This app cost $4.99 which makes me more critical. If this was a free app I would more enthusiastic! What I like about the app is that the beaver introduces/reminds the students how to read clocks or whatever skill is being taught. It isn't much, but I like the extra reinforcement, not just asking them to use a skill they might not have. It also includes teaching compasses and the sun and shadow which is nice.

Play the Clock section has three levels and starts out introducing just telling time by the hour and gets more difficult. The directions are all audio and can be repeated.
The Clock Challenges section introduces quarter to, quarter after and half past.

One thing that I wish this had was help when you get the question wrong. It lets you try again but I like it when it gives you a few tries and then stops and explains the answer. No feedback helpful feedback is given.

How I Use It

I have had students use this app who need additional support. I like that the directions are oral because I have students who struggle reading directions. They get to hear again how the clock works and get that extra practice. There is some challenging work but I use the app for my "at level" and struggling students.
