Encourages Number Fluency & Problem Solving
Community Review for The Land of Venn - Numeric Storms
My Take
I really like the problem solving aspects of this game. Students can try a number combination, and if it works they win. However, if it doesn't, students have more chances to make a successful number combination. At each level players earn coins that they can redeem for extras, like more water, which really help in allowing enough time to make successful combinations and beat levels. It's a great way for students to strategize and problem solve in addition to practicing number combinations.
How I Use It
This is a fun game for students that incorporates practice of number combinations. I would use this game as individual practice for number combinations. It's an engaging game that students enjoy, as they practice number fluency. It's something fun to use as a math station.
