My Take
Although some student just decided to not do what they were supposed to (like one of my students building a Mach 4 fighter jet when we were supposed to try to make a prop plane that would fly the longest with 20 gallons of fuel), It was a invaluable teaching tool and I think everyone should use it to teach aerodynamics. The only thing I think they should add is a way to make curved wings and experiment with different airfoils, but overall it has all it needs.
How I Use It
I used this project to teach my 7th grade students how aerodynamics work. I first used is for classwork and then I even allowed them to use it when they were done with their work. It really helped them with their physics.
