How I Use It

Screencastify is a Chrome Extension found in the Google Chrome Store. Simply add the extension, and you are ready to use Screencastify. As a teacher who teaches other teachers, I use Screencastify all the time to create video tutorials. It is easy to record your screen, incorporating audio and even embedding a screen of you if you choose. Students could use Screencastify to create a video of a presentation they created using Google slides, or another presentation tool. Teachers could record their lessons and make them available on their website to students who need extra review, or for students who were absent that day. It is also great if you are going to be gone. A sub could just play the Screencastify of you explaining what you want your students to accomplish for the day.
