My Take
Overall the kids were engaged by the free version was too short and at the price it is not worth the app. It could be great for students who are struggling with the concepts of the digestive system.
How I Use It
I used the free version with a group of 3rd grade students as an intro into a lesson on healthy eating. The students really loved playing the game once they turned on the volume to hear the instructions. The kids really like learning which food did what to their stomach. The students conquered the free levels much faster then expected. They were anxious to get the next levels that you have to pay for. When I started the phase of the lesson I was able to refer back to what they learned on the game and they seem to grasp more the if they had not played the game.
