I'm not sure where this would fit in other than an ELL classroom. But I thought it was great. I used it a lot.
How I Use It
This is a app that is nicely done. It's perfect for ELL students. I've used it with a beginner adult class. It's a great warm up activity or for work in pairs. It takes into account listening, speaking, and reading. I love how students can infer meaning by looking at the pictures.

This App Is Great for ELL Students
This is a wonderful app that is not that expensive. I love that you can create multiple users on iPad and it will track each users progress. Rainbow sentences is great for students who are learning the English language. The pictures provide great context clues that can help students with their sentence structure. There are also many great features that allow the teacher to set the app to more advanced features like turning off the color matching feature. I absolutely love that once the student has put together a sentence they have to record themselves reading that sentence. This portion of the app fits perfectly with the speaking and listening component of the Common Core.
