Community Review for PenPal Schools
My Take
My overall opinion of PenPal Schools is that it is a great way for students to communicate with kids globally in a digitally safe environment.
How I Use It
I use it first to teach and practice well-structured paragraph writing, and to teach nonfiction reading skills. I like that it gives an authentic audience for my students' writing!

A great tool for students of English as a Second Language to improve their language and communication skills.
This website provides students with the opportunity to gain international communication and a global perspective. They gain a comprehensive and critical understanding of perspectives by discussing different perspectives on topics with users around the world.

Creates an understanding of culture differences!
Overall, I feel there needs to be more interaction. The students were excited to see their pen pal's responses, yet many pen pals did not. There is a requirement and time limit for students to respond and many students never got a response from their pal.
