Community Review for Pattern Shapes, by the Math Learning Center
My Take
I truly loved this app. After years of trying to keep everyone on task with the wooden shapes, the tablet solves the problem of sharing or building when I am trying to teach geometry! I don't have any critiques of this app!
How I Use It
I've used this product for the past two years since our one to one tablet implementation. What worked for me is the ease of use by the children, who are able to quickly navigate the app to create or duplicate using the pattern shapes that mirror our wooden pattern shapes. It allows for creativity and helps to diagnose students with difficulties in shape recognition.

Non-thrilling building
If you're looking for a game, it's ok. If you're looking for a pedagogic app, I have hard time to see the pedagogical value of this app.
