My Take

This tool is a great tool for teachers to be able to get a quick response from students. The app can be used throughout a class period for hooks, lessons, exit tickets, etc. This app allows you to hold students accountable by having students write thoughts/responses rather than having students just think about something. This app is extremely quick and easy to create discussion boards. Multiple backgrounds are available to uses as well as options to include your own. The boards can be set up in an organized or free flowing fashion.

How I Use It

Anita Archer would tell you that educators cannot hold students accountable for their thoughts, thats why we must have students write their responses down. This is an excellent app to allow students to write their thoughts out and to hold students accountable. I use this with students to get students thinking about certain topics. This is a great way for the class to brainstorm what they already know, respond to images/quotes/text/videos, and assess students learning. A great formative assessment tool for educators.
