My Take

Padlet is easy to use on any device. It is easy to set-up. Sometimes it is inconsistent on a tablet device, but refreshing the screen seems to fix it every time. It does not require a login just a link for students to access it, so it is great to use with younger students who don't have email addresses. The teacher should be logged in while students are adding to a site to monitor and delete items if necessary. If there are many users, it is important to teach them how to move their notes arounds so they don't all end up in the same place on top of each other. This can be a challenge with a lot of people using a pad at a time.

How I Use It

I use this to brainstorm in a group, to perform a gallery walk (I post the link under work they are evaluating). I reuse boards (once one is created, and we are done with it, I take a picture and then delete posts so it can be reused). I also use it to jigsaw reading and research.
