My Take
When I found this product I was thrilled. Finally what I have been looking for! It is not the all and end all. It doesn't go much deeper than DOK 1 most of the time, sometimes DOK 2. BUT there is such a need to do this quickly and easily. I wish the data was easier to access and use.
How I Use It
I use math space for assignments and assessments. There are two options, custom assignments and adaptive assignments. Both have a place in my instruction. I love the instant feedback and support in the form of hints, videos, and access to the ebook. These can be disabled for assessments. If students prefer paper it can be printed off with one click. Unfortunately, this doesn't allow them to access the real time support. As I have used this product, I have preferred using it for practice rather than assessment. I only began using it in March so perhaps as the students become more comfortable with the product, they will be more comfortable using it for assessment.
