My Take
This is an incredible teaching tool that I think has purpose in every classroom setting. I love how easy the technology is to use and how it constantly updates and analyzes information. There is a sense of transparency when I send my students off to read independently that I never thought could exist. I have such a clear picture of each student's learning breakdown. I cant wait for it to be available on all tablets, not just iPads, so the students can access this product at home!
How I Use It
I use this product during choice reading (when students read a leveled book of their choice independently in class) and during guided reading. I have found it to be an AMAZING tool in both settings. The students love getting to use a tablet. Because they are so tech savvy, we get through so much more material than we would using traditional paper copies.
