My Take
I love the materials - and the teacher guidance on the accompanying teach.genetics.utah.edu site. Additionally, as an educational researcher, I appreciate the rigor with which the materials are developed and evaluated. It is rare to find curricular materals that are tested using scientifically stringent evaluation methods!
How I Use It
This site has a wealth of resources that are very helpful for providing ways for students to visualize and engage in understanding challenging concepts - like the steps of protein synthesis, or biotechnology. The visuals are interesting and well designed. Plus, students really have fun with activities like the mutt mixer, and other genetics-related labs/activities.
