A very good resource to pair alongside traditional classes/coursework

My Take

I believe that Khan Academy is a fantastic tool to pair alongside a traditional course.
It isn't really designed to be an independent resource to learn a subject, it's there to help fill in the gaps of a standard course. They have plenty of videos, articles, practice problems, etc. that can help you improve your understanding but it isn't really useful beyond that. You can't ask follow up questions, and once you get through all the example problems for a specific subject (which can be pretty easy to do), it can't provide you with new ones.
Despite these flaws, I'd still recommend it. It's also free, so there's no reason not to try it.

How I Use It

I personally used Khan Academy a lot during high school. Specifically, the SAT prep section. The ability to just do hundreds of practice problems, alongside some good practice tests, really helped me prepare for the test. I also occasionally used it to do practice problems for topics that I felt I needed to spend more time with.
