My Take
I really enjoyed how simple it is to use. The lessons were easy to find. No complains because it is manageable and free. I liked how comprehensive the app is for learning especially in math. The app does encourage higher order thinking skills because students are able to evaluate, analyze, and create their own khan-style lesson and/or tests. It could be used in a higher level of the SAMR framework because there is a drawing tool, and video hints for students who are having trouble answering the problem. They contain practice and unit tests that can be very helpful for children.
How I Use It
Very good for visual learners. It's not hands free so might be difficult for those who are not visual learners. Teachers can see where each student is placed at individually. This is a good way to figure out each student individual needs.
