In this essay, I will explore the reasons why I strongly dislike i-Ready, from its lack of engagement to its ineffective and tedious nature. ### Uninspiring and Tedious One of the main reasons I despise i-Ready is its lack of engagement. The lessons feel repetitive, monotonous, and uninspired. Every session begins with a tedious assessment, which often leaves me feeling like I'm simply going through the motions. Literally, who would use this website. If you do use this website (unless you are forced to for school work) clearly you have nothing else to do in your life. Once you get through the practice it all gets down to the quiz. Already with one question wrong, you get an %83 on your grade. For real like this is exactly why people get so stressed over just one lesson. And also if you get just one question wrong, the people who are teaching you give you I A literal 20 minute direction on how to do it, and they don’t even explain it correctly. As well, the lesson takes way too much of your extra time. That’s why one lesson takes over an hour. Clearly, this website needs some…or… A LOT of improvement for kids from all over the world could learn correctly.

Some may think that i-Ready is good at helping students learn what they need to and believe that teachers can tailor their lessons for students based on their pupils’ diagnostic scores. Still, I want to argue that i-Ready is difficult to use and different from many learning programs that actually help students get the education they need.
