Inappropriate Content Mixed in with Articles

My Take
I would have to look long and hard on this page to find something that I would like my kids to use. If I was going to use this site with the kids I think that I would like to find an article written by a teen that I could give the kids to read and we could use as an example of students getting published.
How I Use It
I was hoping to have my 7th grade students use this site to add to their Friday Current Events assignments. I am really glad that I looked over the site before I had the kids use it. There was cussing, and inappropriate content for a teen site all over the place. One of the "articles" under the Politics heading was "11Things That Instantly Make A Man Hot". There were a ton of "articles" on the site that looked like sponsored content and not real articles and it was just a website that I would not have the kids look around on. I think there may be some good articles written "by teens, for teens" but with all of the other junk clouding the page it was hard to find.
