Community Review for Here There Everywhere
My Take
I explain American policy and current events to international audiences but was dumbfounded when discussing them with my 11 and 8 year-olds. HTE not only gives me a starting point for talking to them about current news items, but gets them reading something besides graphic novels!
How I Use It
I ask the children to pick an article, we read it and discuss it over the next several days. This allows absorption, critical analysis and trains them to be open to changing their opinion if evidence leads them that way.
