My Take

I highly suggest this program. It's free. It limits what the coding student can do (for example- no "openURL") unless they pay for the full version, but there is a TON that can be done without having to pay for a full program. Plus: it lets them publish. If the teacher has a developer license, they can publish to iTunes! How cool is that??

How I Use It

This is a great way to teach coding to students in a more advanced fashion than Scratch or Hopscotch- and it is very cross platform/device. I use this in my programming class as a shell code option BEFORE hard coding. It allows everyone to be successful. I find shell coding to be easier for students- hard coding tends to lose some of the class. Being able to see what they work on as they work is a great way to "hook" students. Scratch is wonderful- but tricky to use with high school kids. This is like Scratch, but with more advance tools.
