My Take
This teaching tool is great to introduce function topics. I like that, for this purpose, it is easier to use than a handheld graphic calculator. It is not a great tool for analyzing functions. I would like for multiple functions displayed to show up in different colors. It is much easier to direct a class when you can use words like the blue one or the red one, rather than x^2 or x^3.
How I Use It
I use this product to introduce parent functions. Students can easily plot functions and see the differences in them. Students can also manipulate the functions to see how they transform. More than one function can be plotted at a time which enables students to see how changes occur. I did not use the export/share feature. We only use the graphs to explore.
