My Take
When seeing what Figma has to offer, I can say that it brings the creativity and graphic design of the popular app Canva with the collaboration aspect of Googles Docs and Slides programs. Specifically with this app, I believe the UI is way cleaner than google slides and because of this, will allow for students to have a quicker and more sophisticated workflow.
How I Use It
In the classroom, Figma can be used as an application for group projects and to encourage creativity. I'd say that Figma can be used with any students (even ones in college). With it being web-based, students with school issued computers can collaborate without worrying if the others will be able to access it. Working on group projects with apps like Figma can encourage students to work with others, team build, and allow for them to build up core skills that they will need later in the workforce.
