A safe way to introduce your students to blogging.
Kidblog allows you to set up a class set of blogs for your students that no one else can see, unless you let them. It encourages kids to respond to each other's writing, and also allows you (and them) to see a record of their writing over the year. There is also an app available for mobile devices, so kids can use it almost anywhere.
How I Use It
I use Kidblog in several ways. I teach students how to respond appropriately to other people's writing, and how to publish their own ideas. I have used it to ask a question of the class, and each student can give their own answer after thinking about it. I use is for a homework choice as well.
