My Take
It has been a few years since I have used eSpark with my class. I did not step away for any particular reason other than Covid (need I say more?). I absolutely love all of the updates since we last used it. Small groups and differentiation are clutch! I was planning to only use it with my on target and struggle bugs. However, when I saw that I could now select particular lessons to assign and schedule them in advance, even for my high flyers, I was elated! Do yourself a favor, start using eSpark IMMEDIATELY!
How I Use It
I use eSpark as part of my Reading Center Rotation. Thus all of my students get the opportunity to use it on different days.

Tailored to my students
This is a convenient and effective teaching tool. The user-friendly teacher end helps me see reports on usage and student success, which I can use to communicate with parents. I encourage kids to use it a few times each week at home, and even more for students who have fallen below grade level.

Wonderful adaptive resource for reading, writing, and math.
I love how eSpark adapts to my students based on what they are able to complete on their own. I am not overly fond of the writing portion of eSpark. It does not help my students expand on a story as much as I would like to see. At this point, though they are expanding, there are not enough skills for some areas of math and reading.
