My Take
Overall, this may be my favorite product I’ve used. It’s easy to use and really engaging. The only downside that I’ve noticed is that it doesn’t give you immediate feedback on student work (it takes 24 hours). Otherwise I love that students take quizzes on the topic they are learning about and that informs their level.
How I Use It
I use this during our daily intervention block this year and it works wonderfully. Students are engaged and on task, and actually request to use it! In previous years, I’ve used it as a reading station and I found just as much success there. I love that I can assign standards for students to practice (at their level) that we’ve been working on in class.

Tailored to my students
This is a convenient and effective teaching tool. The user-friendly teacher end helps me see reports on usage and student success, which I can use to communicate with parents. I encourage kids to use it a few times each week at home, and even more for students who have fallen below grade level.

Wonderful adaptive resource for reading, writing, and math.
I love how eSpark adapts to my students based on what they are able to complete on their own. I am not overly fond of the writing portion of eSpark. It does not help my students expand on a story as much as I would like to see. At this point, though they are expanding, there are not enough skills for some areas of math and reading.
