My Take
Espark is an excellent teaching tool. First, the students love having their own tablet and a small place they can go to work. Second, the Espark apps effectively engage students and keep them having fun while they're practicing concepts.Lastly, Espark records student progress on the app itself so teachers can quickly view student progress at any time.
How I Use It
I did not use Espark, but my colleague did because she was in charge of Espark. I was able to preview and test the apps to see whether they fit with our curriculum. My colleague used Espark for students to practice reading and math concepts, such as order of operations and vocabulary building. She used Espark for the full duration (35 mins) of her class.
