A collection of simple vocabulary and grammar review games.

My Take
These games are so simple that students will quickly lose interest unless there is additional encouragement/competition in the classroom. They were all at a pretty low level of Bloom's Taxonomy, too.
I did like the variety of games. If I taught ELL or maybe upper elementary, several of these games would be of greater use.
How I Use It
This site contains a variety of simple, dated video games based on vocabulary, word choice, spelling, and grammar. The games were easy to play. Several of the games seemed specifically geared toward ELL students who need practice choosing the correct wording for sentences. It would be ideal for these students to practice the English language.
SuperSimiles would be good for ELL students to practice idioms.
Description Detective seemed like it would help students practice holding details from the reading because the player must remember physical descriptions of characters while looking at pictures. There wasn't much variety, though.
CannonBall Express required students to manipulate word order to create a grammatically sound sentence.
English Star is a vocabulary game that is a little clunky.
There are several other vocabulary, spelling, and word choice games.
