Great lessons. Use primary source materials. Some are long and may need modified.
Lessons are usually interesting; draw on primary source and add information about the subject beyond the textbook. Some articles could be discussed as a class, if warranted, and then progress to the activity. Some of the lessons are long (4 days) so you could not use them all the time; but some of them are worth the time for providing the Big Picture.

Great site for almost any topic in Social Studies Curriculum.
