My Take
One of the major issues is that the format in CVs it exports in is unreadable in reverse. So if you export, you have to remove some of the exported data columns to be able to import it successfully. Also I appreciate some of the cloud live saving but if there is any blip in your internet it has no onboard storage of data entry so it will lose all the inputs you gave it.
It is on the right track with regards to creating report comments and saving. A little bulky / not-accessible for a first time users but if you are comfortable with tech a little trial and error and you will surely figure it out. They don't exactly have Google money for UI.
How I Use It
At this point the app is great for things like storing marks and doing report cards. I love the backend access that allows us to import and export using CVS.
I use it for report cards and marking only. In fact I still fully rely on Google Class to mark and do feedback as the connection is far more rugged and live cloud saving is refined. I will then move the marks and feedback over to Edsby.
I also use it for extra-curricular tracking and communication with parents and students. That it does well.
Impossible to log a ticket though. If I want support I have to go through my school rep and the middle man depending on who it is adds such an unnecessary step. I will go through my school rep and then they get to decide if my request is valid enough to forward? Get an AI bot to run your priorities or ANY service desk integration.
