My Take
This is a great teaching tool. It keeps me and my students accountable for learning. I like that I can view reports, add different types of questions, and stop their ability to skip ahead. Even though it says for 6-12, I use this even with 1st and 2nd graders. I wish that it allowed you to mash-up different videos, but other than that, I haven't had any barriers to using it.
How I Use It
At my school, I use EdPuzzle for my classes AND for professional development with teachers. It gives me an opportunity as an educator to not just show a video, but make videos meaningful and engaging. I can check understanding and engagement quickly. During station rotations, students use this during their Independent Work Station, usually to reinforce a concept that was introduced earlier in the day or week. I spend about 3-5 minutes adding questions to the videos and I always check that they can't skip ahead in the videos so I know they are getting all the information they need.
