Unreliable and Zero Support
Community Review for Edji
My Take
It's a great tool--when it works, which lately it hasn't. When I first started using it, it was great. I was content enough with the free version but eventually upgraded to their paid plan.
I moved to a different school this year and have been unable to change my profile details so that I can continue using the paid version without losing the readings I've already created. I've emailed them--using their own link--a bunch of times over the past four months and have not gotten a reply. I even emailed the owner directly. No response.
So now I'm back with the free version, which means that every time I cant to create a new reading assignment, one of my old ones gets deleted.
More importantly, in the past few months at quarter or so of my students get 404 page not found error messages when attempting to access the reading. I get it sometimes too. Again, no response from them about why that happens or what to do about it.
As soon as I can get my school to pay for it, I'm switching to Kami.
How I Use It
I use Edji for some whole-class readings for which I'm interested in students' initial impressions and/or their ability to find parts of a text that speak to a concept or theme we're working on.
