My Take
Diigo is the ultimate classroom research tool for project based learning. It provides classroom teachers with a safe way for students to collect and collaborate information. It provides tools such as web highlighting, screen shots, tagging, and more. Diggo offers a school account or an individual educator account. Educators can create a free account and enroll their students without an email. Teachers also have full control of student accounts, which allows them to collaborate safely.
How I Use It
I have used Diigo with students to gather information, pictures, videos, etc for projects. Students were able to share information they collect with their classmates. They were also able to answer questions I put in a topic discussion and even add their own questions. I was able to post group content to the class blog. Diigo provided students with the experience of evaluating information on the web.
