Community Review for Desmos
My Take
Desmos was very helpful for me especially in higher level math classes like Calc 2 and Multivariable Calc. It make it easy to visualize mathematical concepts, equations, etc. that you might have trouble with. It also works pretty well as a free alternative to a graphing calculator.
My only issue is that it can occasionally be a bit tricky to use, especially when you're trying it for the first time.
How I Use It
I mostly use it to see equations represented in graphical form. I mostly use it for equations whose shapes I can't immediately recall. I also use it to alter/transform equations, find variables, solve systems of equations, etc.

Students can visually learn the graphs that are being taught.
I like how you can zoom in or out of the graph. You can also put in any type of graph which is very useful.

great resource for graphing
I overall think this a very valuable resource as a teaching tool because it helps with visualization which can be so important for graphing. Additionally, students can add multiple coordinates and graphs and see how different variables interact.
