Easy-to-use graphing calculator for whole-class, small-group, or individual work.
I've seen great improvement in this tool over the last year. It is ridiculously easy to use, even for a first-timer. In our district, we would appreciate having an Android version as well as the web and iPad versions.
How I Use It
We demonstrated this tool to math teachers in one of our Common Core PDs this year, and they were very excited about the capabilities. We had one teacher use this to reinforce graphs of functions, having students create a drawing by creating line or curve segments with functions. Another teacher uses it with EL students; it allows them to manipulate parameters directly and see the ensuing results. Another teacher uses it for demonstrations, particularly with 3D shapes that are difficult to draw and re-draw by hand.
