My Take
This is a great way to engage children by being hands on. With moving the fraction models around students are also getting the chance to learn how to use technology. This has a great way of letting students know if they get something correct or not, which can help teachers know if the student needs more attention.
How I Use It
I would use this as a warm up for students the next day after teaching them a lesson alongside using it at the end of class. This can be used to reinforce the lessons that were taught. There is also some repetition that can give students who need extra practice more chances to work on the same subject.
